Google Slides Interactive Lesson
All / All / Special Education
The tool I chose to use for this lesson google slides. My students are in kindergarten struggling using platforms that require typing. Google slides is a great tool for interactive learning because kindergarten students learn best visually. Students are able to drag their answers and have fun while doing it to! You are also able to add the sound feature and students are able to use it if they are having trouble understanding the lesson. The sound to speech feature will help my EL and special education students who need directions read to them. Using the RAT Matrix from Roblyer and Hughes (2019) google slides falls in to the Amplification category because of the sound being read to the students. That is not available with a normal handout or PDF lesson.
