Thomas Jefferson's Monticello

Thomas Jefferson's love for architecture and archaeology are evident at Monticello. He spent 40 years building and rebuilding his castle, even tearing most of it down at one point. The entry room is filled with items found during the Lewis and Clark Expedition. His love of inventing is evident throughout the home, including one of the first copy machines, located in his study.
