Amazing Annabelle Martin Luther King Jr Day Chapter 3

Chapter three drama for the new year. Back to school was the first drama club meeting for the new year. Adeno wondered what misses Phillips had up her sleeves for the new year. When Caitlyn and Annabel arrived at the auditorium, misses Phillips was already there stretching on the stage and doing warm ups before everyone else arrived. Adult thought that the class would probably do a short warmup too before they got to their main activity. As a student slowly arrived, misses Phillips instructed everyone to get on the floor and start the wall up exercises to take away any stress they might be feeling from the day's activities. Annabelle really didn't feel any stress, but she did exercises anyway because she thought they were a lot of fun. Just then, Adele walked into the auditorium and looked around for someone she knew. Adele finally made eye contact with annabelle who stopped exercising and ran down off the stage to greet her. Hey Adele, I see you made it. And it also said happily. And I go, notice that her friend seemed a little nervous and shy. I really hope I don't regret this, and they both said quietly. Oh, of course you won't. You're going to have the greatest time today. I guarantee it, and it will declare. Animals putting her classmates opinion of her on the line. I promising a great time for Adele. But one thing annabelle could do really well was to always have fun. She knew once the class got started, things would get interesting. Since this was Adele's first time at drama club, misses Phillips had everyone introduce themselves to her. Adele soon felt warm and welcome. Then misses Phillips began a quick feelings activity. She had a stack of cards that had a specific feeling word to be expressed. When a student picked a card, he or she had to silently act out that feeling in a short scene. Students could use one other student to assist them. Jackson, he would go first. After he picked a card, he chose battery to assist him. They both acted out two brothers arguing over something. Since they had to remain silent, no one really knew exactly what they were arguing over. The audience had to figure out what feeling was being shown in the scene. Caitlyn quickly raised her hand. Is the feeling anger? She asked, you got it. We were arguing over who was going to pay for a pizza. Jake shot it happy to be successful in portraying the emotion. The class began to laugh. Jake and Barry were really funny and did a great job. Victoria jumped up to go next. She chose a car from the stack and then ex Caitlin to assist her. The two girls went off stage for a short moment to talk about it together. And then come back and start acting. Katelyn said on the stage and started to fake cry. Victoria came along and began to comfort her and make her feel better. Then they walked off the stage together, ball smiling. Tyler raised his hand is the feeling sad. He acts yes, but I had two feelings on my card. What was the other one, Victoria asked? Happy, of course, Tyler says sounding sure of himself. Correct. First, Caitlin was crying because she lost her dog. Then I came along and told her I would buy her a new one if she couldn't find it. The class clapped. They both had done a good job. It seemed as if Victoria was really trying to live up to her new year's resolution already. She didn't cause any unnecessary drama at all. She just followed the directions and everything went well. Annabelle chose the next card. She asked Adele to assist her, but at first she shook her head no. After the whole class and courage to her, that's how big she could give it a try. And it will whisper in Adele's ear exactly what she wanted her to do. So Adele made on the floor at the opportunity to be asleep. Then, annabelle ran up to her and started checking her to wake her up. Then Adele pretended to tell her something with her eyes wide. They both covered their mouth with their hands and went off the stage. Dexter raised his hand to offer a guess. Is the feeling scared? He asked more like terrified annabelle said with excitement. I woke up to tell her that a monster was eating all of our furniture and we had to get out of the house before we were next. The class left even more. The girls had done a great job, and they were definitely having fun. After everyone had a chance to participate, this is Phillips called them over to make an announcement. Since we celebrate doctor Martin Luther King Jr. day on the third Monday of January, we're going to create a short play about something important that happened in his life. When we meet tomorrow, I'll tell you about his life and introduce the play will perform. Happy January, and I'll see everyone tomorrow. Misses Phillips said with a big smile. As all the kids began to leave, there was a lot of buzz about what kind of play they would be doing and who would get the major parts. Annabelle had never been in a real play before, but would definitely love the opportunity to act on a stage in front of people. She knew whatever part she was given would be fine.
