What Does Memorial Day Mean to You_(1)
All / Holidays and Seasons / Memorial Day
Memorial Day dates back to the 19th century. On this national holiday, we pause to pay our respect and honor to the military men and women who have given their lives in service to our nation. What does Memorial Day mean to you? It is difficult when we lose one of our battle buddies. But we are proud to carry on their legacy as a defender of our freedom. It has a privilege and honor to wear the cloth of my nation. There's no better team than the one I'm part of. My fellow service members passed, present and future. While the conditions in which were protect and defend are tough and arduous, we do it because it's what we're called to do. And because we love our country. No other organization requires such an enormous commitment and verbal oath to support and defend our constitution. The price of freedom is not free. Remember our gold star families as they, too, have sacrificed so much in preserving the freedoms we enjoy. To our fallen comrades, for your selfless and honorable service in America's armed forces. Rest assured, you will never be forgotten.
